하 뭐하지 : 진짜 다른의미로 한국에 정말 오래 살았는데 한국어를 한마디를 못하는거 보면 정말신기하네요 얼마나 한국을 우습게 봤으면 저럴까 미국에 갔을때 영어를 서툴게 하니까 바로 꼽주드만 ㅋㅋ
Melissa Lee : I spent years worrying about my daughters bilingual ability but I needed have wasted my time worrying. They attended a Korean Kindergarten and Korean Elementary school and now they're in an Australian high school and I'm so proud to see them switch between being 100% Korean, 100% Australian and 100% Kiwi. Kids will adapt and as long as they spend a reasonable time in any one country they'll learn the language and culture.
Debora Mobers : This is so interesting!!! It's almost nice to hear other international couples struggle with cultural differences too. I'm Dutch, husband is in the US AF and we recently moved from the Netherlands to Vegas and I had NO IDEA how horribly different it is here. It's a much bigger culture shock than expected. Thankfully the military has a lot of resources that we're trying to figure out, but it must be hard for other international couples not knowing about the resources they can use as well! I'm also hoping to teach our kids English and Dutch, as I was raised with both as well. I'm sure this video will help others <3
hong : 이런 정책들 너무너무 좋고 필요한데, 사실은 더 본질적으로는 여기 나온 제이크님과 브래드님이 말씀하신 미국과 영국에서의 교육처럼 그렇게 공교육이 진행되는거 자체가 더 중요하죠 그냥 다문화 요소를 빼고라도 그 교육 자체가 수준이 높아야하고, 나아가 세계를 알게하고 더 넓은 시야를 갖게해주는것.. 한국은 그런 면에서 교육시스템 개혁이 많이 필요해요 좋은 일자리가 부족하니 경쟁이 심한것은 그래도 그렇다 쳐도 그 경쟁도 제대로된 교육내용과 교육방식으로 제대로된 경쟁을 하게 해야하는데.. 다름을 싫어하고 똑같이 생각해야 옳다는 식의 일제시대 교육방식을 아직도 쓰고있으니.. 그래서 국제부부 가정은 한국에서 아이를 키우더라도 아주 어릴때까지고 그 이후는 다른 배우자 국가에 가서 아이키우는 경우가 대부분이죠..
